The Fleet Auction Group has announced a new partnership with Aviloo, a global pioneer in independent battery diagnostics, to introduce State of Health (SoH) battery checks covering both cars and light commercial electric vehicles across its vehicle de-fleet and remarketing network.
This collaboration marks a major step forward in transparency and confidence for electric vehicle (EV) buyers and sellers. By integrating Aviloo’s advanced diagnostic technology, The Fleet Auction Group will now provide accurate, independent assessments of EV battery condition — a key factor in determining vehicle value and performance.
“Battery health is the most important measure of an electric vehicle’s true condition,” said Andrew Walker, CEO at The Fleet Auction Group. “Our partnership with Aviloo enables us to offer buyers complete clarity and confidence, while helping vendors achieve fair market value for their EVs. It’s a win for transparency and trust in the remarketing process.”
Aviloo’s State of Health test evaluates the real capacity of a vehicle’s traction battery compared to its original design, providing a precise, data-driven percentage score. The results are compiled in a comprehensive Aviloo Battery Certificate, recognized throughout the industry for its accuracy and independence.
The rollout of Aviloo’s SoH battery checks across The Fleet Auction Group’s operations is now in place, covering both passenger and light commercial EVs. Buyers will be able to view verified battery health data directly in vehicle listings and inspection reports, supporting smarter purchasing decisions and enhanced resale confidence.
